The Ukulele Group of Northeast TN is a group for Ukulele enthusiasts of any level. This is a new community effort launched in 2019. For now, the goal is to simply share the fun of playing ukulele with others, and in the process learn and grow as players.

The format for the meeting is evolving as follows:

1. Greet & setup.
2. Jam pre-selected songs.
   Check on the Next Meeting page, or email ahead for song information: [email protected].  
3. The volunteer for that month will introduce a song for all.
   This is an introduction, with some teaching, but isn't really a lesson.
4. Business (next meeting location, news, etc.)
5. Perform something you are currently working on, e.g. a song, rif, new technique, etc. This is OPTIONAL: all interested parties can place their name in a hat, and names will be drawn, one piece for sharing each until the meeting is over. This might be all or a few depending on group size. If you want others to sing along, please provide lyrics  in either hard copy or electronic format.
